The Exmoor Trust supported a training programme for the Somerset YFC in order to assist the education of young people within Exmoor National Park.

The Exmoor Trust has given donations for new equipment and has also funded the training of a Search and Rescue dog. The charity is run entirely by volunteers and provides a vital service within Exmoor National Park as well as across parts of Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
The Exmoor Trust supports The Calvert Trust because it is of enormous benefit to disabled people within the South West and further afield, as well as their friends and families. It also brings in people from outside the park which in turn supports businesses and the local community.
The Exmoor Trust supported The Dulverton Heritage Centre with a grant to help towards the cost of it’s red deer exhibition in April 2014. The centre acts as an educational resource for visitors and locals alike.
The Exmoor Trust gave a grant towards the cost of renovating the war memorial in Winsford village. The memorial is an important part of the history of the village and has now been preserved for future generations to come.
In 2017 / 2018 The Exmoor Trust gave a donation to Exmoor National Park towards the cost of erecting special barn owl boxes in strategic locations within the park. Conservation is something The Exmoor Trust supports safeguarding the habitat of species within the park for the benefit of future generations.
The Exmoor Trust provided a donation towards the cost of new play equipment for Exford Primary School.
The Exmoor Trust gave a donation towards the cost of renovating Middleham Gardens in Lynmouth back in 2007.
Every year the Exmoor Trust sponsors the Exmoor National Park Annual Hedgelaying Competition. In July 2019 prizes were presented and the winning hedge was laid on Summerings Farm near Wheddon Cross. The Exmoor Trust feels that local rural skills must be encouraged and young farmers assisted in learning these skills.
The Exmoor Trust has given two donations towards the Bogtastic project. The event is an educational event hosted jointly by the Heart of Exmoor, Exmoor Mires project, the Environment Agency and Exmoor National Park Authority.
The Exmoor Trust gave a donation to the Two Moors Butterfly project the objectives of which were to try and help reverse the decline of rare butterflies within Exmoor National Park.
The Exmoor Trust has supported the Moorland Mousie Trust - which runs the Exmoor Pony Centre - with start up office costs and has also made donations to help with the cost of winter feed and bedding for the Exmoor ponies.
